Sarah Snethlage

Sarah Snethlage is a Senior Associate in the Shipping and Logistics Department (including Customs) at Wylie's Cape Town branch. She specialises in maritime law, customs and excise, and administrative law, advising clients on disputes with SARS, regulatory compliance under the Customs and Excise Act 91 of 1964, and various admiralty law matters including security, in rem arrests, and stowaway disputes.

She has worked closely with partners on arbitrations and insurance claims involving large corporate clients, and has been primarily engaged in customs matters, including reviews and assisting clients with regulatory compliance. She holds a BA (Law) and LLB from Stellenbosch University.
