Nkateko Hlongwane

Nkateko Hlongwane is an Associate at ENS in the Corporate Commercial practice, specialising in Health Care Law. Her experience spans general commercial law and regulatory matters across the pharmaceuticals and healthcare, medical schemes, foodstuffs, and liquor industries.

Nkateko's practice includes drafting legal opinions, reviewing commercial agreements, conducting due diligence investigations, and preparing submissions on proposed legislation and regulations. She assists clients in establishing operations in South Africa, advising on company incorporations, regulatory registrations and licensing requirements for entities within regulated industries. She has notable experience in healthcare regulatory matters, consumer protection law and liquor industry compliance, and has contributed to publications on franchise law for the International Trademark Association (INTA).

Nkateko holds an LL.B. from the University of Pretoria and is admitted as an attorney of the High Court of South Africa.
