Michael Papas

Michael Papas is a Senior Associate at ENS in the Insolvency, Restructuring and Business Rescue practice, specialising in Bankruptcy and Insolvency Law. He has acted for large financial institutions, liquidators and business rescue practitioners, focusing on corporate recoveries, business rescue, insolvency, and the restructuring of debt and security.

Michael's experience includes drafting liquidation and sequestration applications, the extension of liquidators' powers, drafting particulars of claims, business rescue matters, recoveries and other insolvency-related litigation and proceedings.

Michael holds a BCom, an LL.B. and an LL.M. from the University of Cape Town. He is admitted as an attorney of the High Court of South Africa.
