Marvin Petersen

Marvin Petersen is a Senior Associate in the Cape Town office's Tax Practice, specialising in Tax Law. He advises on a wide spectrum of local and international tax law matters, as well as exchange control implications.

Marvin has advised Aims Global Logistics on tax considerations for structuring an unincorporated joint venture, AfriCarbon on tax structuring for forest restoration and carbon emission operations, ABSA on the tax implications of preference share funding amendments, and African Rainbow Capital Fund on exchange control approval for preference share funding. He holds an LL.B. from the University of the Western Cape and an LL.M. in Tax Law from the University of Cape Town.
