Kai Behrens

Kai Behrens is an Associate at ENS, practicing in the Corporate Commercial group, specializing in Mergers and Acquisitions. He advises on general corporate law, corporate regulatory matters, private equity transactions, corporate restructurings, and complex cross‑border and multi‑jurisdictional transactions.

Kai has particular experience in corporate governance, due diligence investigations, and the negotiation and drafting of commercial documents, including sale of shares and sale of business agreements, share subscription agreements, board and shareholders' resolutions, memoranda of incorporation, and shareholders' agreements. He advises clients across a diverse range of sectors, including automotive, e‑commerce, hospitality, aerospace, construction, healthcare, manufacturing, mining, precious metals, and defense.

He holds a BA and a BA Honours in Psychology (cum laude) from Stellenbosch University, and an LL.B (cum laude) from the University of Cape Town. He is admitted as an Attorney of the High Court of South Africa.
