Jodi Coxwell

Jodi Coxwell is an Off-Site Consultant in the Intellectual Property & Innovation practice at ENS and a registered patent attorney, specializing in the drafting of patent specifications, due diligence investigations, patent prosecution and litigation, with particular technical expertise in the life sciences arena, including biotechnology and pharmaceuticals.

She has represented clients across the pharmaceuticals, life sciences, mining, transportation, marketing, security and food manufacturing and distribution industries. Her practice also includes drafting agreements relating to IP, filing and prosecution of trade mark applications, and matters relating to trade mark infringement, anti-counterfeiting, copyright, unlawful competition and passing-off.

Jodi holds a BSc in Genetics and Molecular Biology and an LL.B from the University of KwaZulu-Natal. She is admitted as an attorney of the High Court of South Africa and is a registered patent attorney.

She is a member of the Licensing Executives Society (LES) and a Fellow of the South African Institute of Intellectual Property Law (SAIIPL).
