Irfaan Bhayat

Irfaan Bhayat is a Consultant at ENS, practicing in the Banking and Finance group, specializing in Banking and Finance Law. He advises on cross‑border and equity finance, including asset and leveraged finance, structured trade and commodity finance, project financings, and general corporate lending.

Irfaan's experience includes structured trade financings such as borrowing base facilities, pre‑export finance facilities, and post‑shipment advance facilities, as well as corporate lending transactions. He has advised clients across the private, corporate, and public sectors. In addition, he has experience in dispute resolution, wills and estates, and family law.

He holds an LL.B (Cum Laude) and an LL.M (Cum Laude) from the University of the Witwatersrand and is admitted as an Attorney of the High Court of South Africa.
