Herman de Jong

Herman de Jong is an Associate at Wylie, based in Cape Town, specializing in tax law. He assists clients with disputes against the South African Revenue Service (SARS), including drafting dispute documentation, analysing legislation, and corresponding with SARS officials. He also advises on corporate restructuring and reorganisation, international transactions, estate and succession planning, and provides detailed opinions on various tax acts including the Income Tax Act, VAT Act, and Tax Administration Act.

Herman holds a BCom Law, LLB from North-West University (NWU), and an LLM in Tax Law from the University of Cape Town (UCT).
