Gerhardt Ehlers

Gerhardt Ehlers is an Executive in the firm's Mining Law and Occupational Health and Safety practice at ENS, based in South Africa. He advises and acts for multinational mining houses, as well as engineering, construction, and manufacturing firms, with expertise extending to mine and occupational health and safety regulatory advice, due diligence, and the preparation of legally required appointment letters.

He has personally appeared and assisted in a number of accident investigations and accident inquiries following major incidents. Gerhardt holds an LLB from the University of Pretoria and has completed Certificates in Prospecting and Mining Law, International Take-overs and Re-organisations, Advanced Corporate Law and Securities Law, Competition Law, and a Management Development Programme. He is an admitted attorney of the High Court of South Africa.
