Fundile Nene

Fundile Nene is an Associate at ENS in the Tax practice, focusing on Tax Law. She specialises in personal and corporate income tax dispute resolution.

Her experience includes assisting clients in disputes with the South African Revenue Service and preparing responses to and liaising with SARS.

She is also experienced in advising on general corporate tax matters, offering tax-efficient pre-acquisition and post-acquisition structuring advice. This includes assisting clients with conducting tax due diligences, reviewing their tax strategies and proposed or concluded transactions from a technical tax perspective, advising on tax planning measures and optimisation of the relevant capital and debt structures, and drafting legal and transaction steps memoranda and opinions on complex corporate tax issues.

She has advised clients in the mining, telecommunications, information technology, retail and marketing, aviation, agriculture and finance sectors.

She holds a BCom from the University of Pretoria and an LLB (cum laude) from the University of Pretoria, and is admitted as an attorney of the High Court of South Africa.
