Chrichan de la Rey

Chrichan de la Rey is the Head of Tax at Shepstone & Wylie in Durban, specialising in tax law, tax litigation, and dispute resolution with the South African Revenue Service (SARS). She advises clients on a wide range of tax matters including corporate structures and reorganisations, international transactions, sale structuring and transactions, Public Benefit Organisation registrations, capital gains tax, employee tax, VAT‑related matters (including inbound and outbound transactions), expat tax and South African residency, and tax planning (including trusts and estates).

Chrichan holds an LLB from the University of the Free State (UFS) and an LLM in Taxation Law from the University of KwaZulu‑Natal (UKZN).
