Candice Meyer

Candice Meyer is a Partner at Webber Wentzel in the Cape Town office, specialising in Mergers and Acquisitions. With more than 20 years of experience in corporate and commercial law, her expertise includes mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and reorganisations, company law, corporate governance and black economic empowerment.

Candice has extensive experience in local and international cross-border deals, having advised on transactions across Africa (including South Africa, Mozambique, Kenya, the DRC, Mauritius, Seychelles and Nigeria) and with investors from the USA, Australia, Germany, France, Malta, Jersey, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom. She also advises on commercial transactions and contracts.

Candice holds an LL.M. in Corporate and Commercial Law from the University of South Africa, an LL.B. and a B.A. from the University of Cape Town. She is an admitted attorney and notary public of the High Court of South Africa.
