Andries Kruger

Andries Kruger is a Partner at Webber Wentzel in Johannesburg, specialising in employment law and labour litigation. He advises on individual and collective labour law matters.

His experience includes grievances, disciplinary charge sheets, disciplinary processes and hearings, retrenchments (including large-scale retrenchments), transfers of businesses as going concerns, unfair dismissal disputes, unfair labour practice disputes, deemed employment disputes and employment contracts. He also drafts collective agreements and picketing rules and has assisted clients in obtaining exemptions under the Basic Conditions of Employment Act. He has litigated before the CCMA, Labour Courts and the Labour Appeal Court.

Andries holds an LL.M. (2015), a Certificate in Advanced Labour Law with distinction (2015), an LL.B. (2011) and a B.Com (Law) (2009) from the University of Pretoria. He is an admitted attorney of the High Court of South Africa.
