Andre Bowley

Andre Bowley is a Partner at Webber Wentzel in Cape Town, specializing in maritime law and commercial shipping matters with over 20 years of experience.

He has expertise in all aspects of admiralty jurisdiction litigation, maritime claims, and commercial shipping, and has developed specialized knowledge in the South African fishing industry, advising on fisheries law and related commercial operations. He has also been extensively involved in the long-term commercial fishing rights allocation process and has represented clients in various judicial reviews and other litigious matters relating to fishing rights.

Andre holds an LL.B (1994) and a B.Soc.Sci (1991) from the University of Cape Town and is an admitted attorney of the High Court of South Africa.
