Alishka Singh

Alishka Singh is a Partner in the Banking and Finance team at Dentons in South Africa, specializing in Banking and Finance Law. She practices in transactional banking and finance, leading, managing, negotiating, and closing local and cross‑border high‑value financing transactions for financial institutions and corporates.

Alishka has acted for major South African banks and development finance institutions on a wide range of financing matters, including refinancing and acquisition financing for JSE‑listed property companies, development and term financing for data storage providers and shopping mall developments, and funding for student accommodation portfolios, inner‑city developments, and property‑related solutions. She has also advised on financing for a leading refiner and supplier of precious metals, a manufacturer of silicon metal and branded products, a courier pharmacy group, and a hotel development in Mozambique.

She holds a B.Com, an LL.B, and a Master of International Relations from the University of KwaZulu Natal (1999, 2001, 2003). She is an Attorney admitted to the Law Society of the Northern Provinces.

Alishka has been recognised in Best Lawyers South Africa for Banking & Finance Law (2022–2025) and was part of the team that won Property and Construction Team of the Year at the African Legal Awards 2022 and Banking & Finance Team of the Year at the Legal Era Africa Law Awards (2024/25).
