Waheed Badrodien

Waheed Badrodien is a Consultant at Dentons in Cape Town, specializing in Dispute Resolution. He has extensive experience in High Court Litigation with a particular emphasis on Immigration Law and Family Law.

Waheed served as Deputy Chairperson of the Western Cape Provincial Operating Licensing Board (2006–2009), presiding over public hearings for public transport licenses and liaising with the Public Transport Registrar and the City of Cape Town on the formalization and regulation of public transport in the Western Cape. He continues to consult on public transport matters. He has over 20 years of legal experience and has also advised on insolvency and restructuring matters.

He holds a BProc from the University of the Western Cape (1994) and a Diploma in Business Management from the University of Stellenbosch (1980). He was admitted as an Attorney of the High Court of South Africa in 1996.

Waheed is a member of the Black Lawyers Association, the National Association of Democratic Lawyers, the Association for the Advancement of Black Insolvency Practitioners, and the Association of Insolvency Practitioners of South Africa.
