Samantha Mason

Samantha Mason is a Senior Associate in the Litigation Practice and a member of the Dispute Resolution Department at Bowmans in Johannesburg, specialising in dispute resolution, commercial litigation, and arbitration. She advises clients on corporate commercial disputes, public law proceedings relating to the governance of state-owned entities and administrative justice, employment matters, contractual and delictual claims, and urgent High Court proceedings.

Samantha has acted for a large corporate taxpayer in litigation proceedings against the South African Revenue Service; represented one of the country's largest beverage manufacturers in commercial and contractual disputes across its range of operations; assisted in advising various state-owned entities on governance and administrative justice disputes; acted for large South African companies in urgent applications; and represented major corporate companies in contractual disputes and settlement negotiations. She also reviews agreements and conducts due diligence exercises.

Samantha holds a BA and an LL.B from the University of Cape Town.
