Roy Gillespie

Roy Gillespie is an Executive in the Forensics department at ENS, specialising in compliance law, forensic investigations, and anti‑bribery and anti‑corruption. He focuses on the prevention, detection, and investigation of fraud, bribery, corruption, and other forms of financial crime in the public and private sectors.

Roy has wide‑ranging experience in conducting anti‑bribery risk assessments, due diligence, compliance reviews, training, and remediation work for multinationals across multiple jurisdictions, including the United Kingdom, Germany, India, Singapore, Morocco, China, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Nigeria, Mozambique, Kenya, and South Africa. He works closely with compliance functions to support the ongoing implementation of ISO37001 anti‑bribery management systems, including risk assessments, training, due diligence processes, policy drafting, and financial and procurement controls. He has previously been appointed as an investigator for the Zambian Drug Enforcement Commission's Anti‑Money Laundering Investigations Unit and as an inspector for the Central Bank of Zambia. He has also served as an Independent Integrity Compliance Consultant for the African Development Bank Group, reviewing companies' Integrity Compliance Programmes against AfDB guidelines.

Roy holds a Master's Degree in Forensic Investigation and a BTech in Forensic Investigation from the University of South Africa, and is a certified ISO37001 Anti‑Bribery Management System Lead Implementer, a certified Ethics Officer, and an ISO/IEC 27032 Lead Cybersecurity Manager. He is a member of the Association of Commercial Forensic Practitioners and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.
