Randall van Voore

Randall van Voore is a Senior Consultant in the Employment and Benefits practice, specialising in Employment Law. He has more than two decades of post-admission experience advising clients on individual and collective aspects of employment law, including restructuring, take-overs and mergers, collective bargaining, unfair dismissal disputes, and restraint of trade disputes. He also advises on investigations into serious allegations against executive and managerial employees, preparing reports, formulating allegations, and representing clients in disciplinary hearings and tribunals.

He regularly represents clients in the Labour Courts, the High Court, the Commission for Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration (CCMA), and various bargaining councils, including major clients such as Pick ‘n Pay Retailers, Transnet SOC Ltd, Truworths Ltd, and the Universities of Stellenbosch and Cape Town. He has also advised the City of Cape Town on disciplinary action against senior employees and Metropolitan Police officers. In 2011, he served a term as an Acting Judge of the Labour Court.

He holds a BA, LLB, and LLM (details not specified). He taught Labour Law at the University of Cape Town from 2002 to 2008 and is recognised by Best Lawyers (2017) for Labour and Employment law.
