Palesa Shabangu

Palesa Shabangu is an Associate in the Dispute Resolution practice, specialising in commercial litigation. She has experience in a broad range of disputes in commercial, corporate, and contractual law, with a strong focus on High Court matters and arbitration proceedings.

She has acted as a member of the litigation team for Africa's largest brewery in complex tax, customs, excise, and commercial litigation matters, and has advised Coronation Asset Management on a range of tax disputes and related litigation. She has also provided litigation and employment law support to Taquanta Asset Managers, advising on employee disciplinary proceedings and associated disputes.

She holds a BCom (Law and Economics) (with distinction in Economics) and an LL.B from Rhodes University.
