Neerasha Singh

Neerasha Singh is a Partner at Webber Wentzel in Johannesburg, specialising in Banking and Finance Law with a focus on aviation finance, mergers and acquisitions, general corporate transactions, insolvency, and general commercial aviation. She has extensive experience in aviation finance and commercial aviation transactions in South Africa, and has worked extensively on the interpretation and application of consumer protection laws across various industries for clients ranging from producers and manufacturers to importers, distributors and retailers.

She has acted in numerous commercial and aviation transactions across multiple sectors, providing strategic legal counsel on complex corporate transactions, M&A, aviation finance, and regulatory compliance. Prior to joining Webber Wentzel, she clerked for Justice Yacoob at the Constitutional Court of South Africa. She has been recognised by Best Lawyers (2017‑2026) as a leading individual and Lawyer of the Year for Aviation Law 2026, by Legal 500 (2016‑2025) as a legal expert in Shipping & Transport, and by Who's Who Legal (2017) as a leading lawyer in Aviation Finance.

Neerasha holds an LLB (2001) and a BA (1999) from the University of KwaZulu‑Natal. She is an admitted attorney of the High Court of South Africa.
