Kevin Markman

Kevin Markman is an Executive in the Corporate Commercial practice at ENS, practicing in the firm's Mergers and Acquisitions group. He specialises in local and cross-border M&A across industries including mining, financial services, retail, FMCG, gaming, and security, with deep expertise in private equity transactions, including due diligence, portfolio structuring, management incentives, recapitalisations, and exit strategies.

He also advises on takeovers, corporate reorganisations and restructuring, corporate finance, B-BBEE empowerment ventures, stock exchange and securities law matters, including JSE and Takeover Regulation Panel work. He acts for listed and unlisted public and private companies, including multinationals, as well as governmental organisations.

Kevin holds a BCom and an LLB from the University of the Witwatersrand and is admitted as an attorney of the High Court of South Africa. He has been recognized by Best Lawyers in Corporate Law (South Africa) and by The Legal 500 EMEA in Commercial, Corporate and M&A (South Africa).
