Keabetsoe Madisa

Keabetsoe Madisa is an Associate in the Finance Practice at Bowmans in Johannesburg, specialising in banking and finance law, acquisition and project finance, and debt capital markets. She advises on fund finance, acquisition finance, project finance, debt restructuring, and debt capital markets, with experience across both domestic and cross‑border transactions.

Kea has advised Sanlam Life Insurance Limited on the EFSD+ guarantee‑backed USD 1.065 billion facility; Climate Fund Managers on the financing of a water treatment plant; AfriSam Group in relation to a ZAR 890 million debt restructuring; Rand Merchant Bank on the financing of a 114 MW solar photovoltaic plant in the Northern Cape; Custom Capital on the amendment and restatement of its ZAR 2 billion Domestic Medium‑Term Note Programme; and Standard Bank Namibia in respect of a NAD 178 million financing for Goreangab Mall. She approaches her work with a practical, solutions‑driven mindset, having completed prior rotations in Commercial Litigation, Employment Law, and Private M&A.

Kea holds a BCom (Law) and an LL.B from the University of the Witwatersrand. She is an admitted attorney of the High Court of South Africa.
