Imaan Sayed

Imaan Sayed is an Associate specialising in corporate and commercial law, with a focus on private equity transactions and mergers and acquisitions (M&A). She advises clients on M&A transactions, private equity investments, and general company law matters, and has experience drafting and interpreting commercial agreements and conducting legal due diligence investigations.

In 2024, she was seconded to Linklaters in London into the Corporate Practice group, where she was part of a team advising on general M&A matters. Her practice spans both transactional and advisory work, delivering practical legal solutions to clients across multiple sectors. She holds qualifications from the Alliance Française du Cap.

Imaan holds an LLB from the University of Cape Town (2021) and a BA from the University of Cape Town (2019). She is an admitted attorney of the High Court of South Africa.
