Chloë Loubser

Chloë Loubser is a Knowledge and Learning Lawyer in the firm's Dispute Resolution Department and a member of the Employment and Benefits practice, based in the Cape Town office, practicing in Employment Law. Her role involves the curation and imparting of knowledge on employment law and data protection issues to colleagues and clients.

Her experience includes advising clients on commercial transactions including M&A, drafting employment contracts, policies and procedures, consulting agreements, and restraints of trade, as well as advising on dismissals, corporate retrenchments, and workplace health and safety. She also advises clients on compliance with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013. She has conducted due diligence exercises across a range of industries including aviation, engineering, farming, hospitality, and agriculture.

Chloë holds an LLB (magna cum laude) and a Bachelor of Social Sciences from the University of Cape Town. She served on the committee of the Western Cape Chapter of the South African Society for Labour Law between 2020 and 2024 and is a regular moderator on the Employment Law Alliance's podcast series, Employment Matters.
