Claire Nolan

Claire Nolan is an Associate in the firm's Employment practice at ENS, practicing in Employment Law. She has experience advising public and private corporations, as well as individual clients, across industries including transportation, healthcare, pension and provident funds, financial services, insurance, retail, and manufacturing.

She has drafted executive-level employment contracts, settlement and retrenchment agreements, and workplace policies, and has provided advice on disciplinary and harassment matters. She has significant experience conducting due diligence exercises and advising clients on transfers of business as a going concern. She has been involved in litigious matters at the CCMA, Bargaining Councils, Labour Court, Magistrates Court, Labour Appeal Court, High Court, and Constitutional Court, and has advised clients in various African jurisdictions including Zambia, Ghana, Nigeria, Tanzania, and Kenya.

Claire holds a BA (Psychology and Law) and an LLB (cum laude) from the University of the Witwatersrand and is admitted as an attorney of the High Court of South Africa.
