Cayley Stone

Cayley Stone is an Associate in the Mergers and Acquisitions practice at Bowmans in the Johannesburg office, specialising in Mergers and Acquisitions. She has experience in private and public M&A transactions and general corporate law across sectors including retail, mining, renewable energy and pharmaceuticals.

Cayley has advised on significant transactions, including Bombay-listed Natco Pharma on its approximately ZAR 4 billion buy‑out of minority shareholders and subsequent take‑private of Adcock Ingram by way of scheme of arrangement, Appian Capital Advisory LLP on its acquisition of Jaguar Investment's shareholding in Rosh Pinah Zinc Corporation in Namibia, and Dai Nippon Printing Co. Ltd on its acquisition of a 75% shareholding in Rubicon SEZC. She has also advised Kantar Group Ltd on restructuring its South African operations and assisted with legal due diligence investigations for private and public clients.

Cayley holds a B.A. Law (cum laude) and an LL.B. (cum laude) from the University of Pretoria. She is an admitted attorney of the High Court of South Africa.
