Amaarah Kapdi is an Attorney at Dentons in Cape Town, specializing in Intellectual Property Law and Corporate & Commercial law. She advises local and international clients on complex transactional, regulatory, and IP matters across a range of industries.

Amaarah has experience in intellectual property matters, including acting for Absa Bank Limited on domain name disputes, Airports Company South Africa on a WIPO domain dispute, and a South African fashion designer in a copyright infringement case against a world‑renowned clothing retailer. She has advised Meta Platforms Inc. on data protection and consumer protection obligations under POPIA, and WorldRemit on regulatory compliance for Stable Coin products. In corporate and commercial law, she has been part of teams advising Barloworld Limited on a BEE programme, Draslovka on its acquisition of Sasol's sodium cyanide business, and Motorola Solutions Inc. on the due diligence for its acquisition of RapidDeploy. She also serves as project manager for Africa Nexus, Dentons' legal project‑management service for cross‑border solutions across the continent.
