Nkosi Tshabalala

Nkosi Tshabalala is an Executive in the Corporate Commercial practice at ENS, practicing in the firm's Mergers and Acquisitions group. He specialises in general corporate law, M&A, equity capital markets, and broad-based black economic empowerment, with expertise in both local and cross-border transactions servicing listed and unlisted clients across several industries.

Nkosi has advised on corporate formations, private equity transactions, corporate finance, and ECM transactions including IPOs and JSE listings. He also provides B-BBEE advisory and compliance services, including strategic planning and structuring of transactions in accordance with B-BBEE legislation. He is an expert in drafting and negotiating commercial documents, including sale agreements, share subscriptions, board and shareholders' resolutions, trust deeds, shareholders' agreements, and memoranda of incorporation.

He holds a BCom Law (with distinction) and an LLB (with distinction) from the University of Pretoria, and has completed Advanced Company Law I and II from the University of the Witwatersrand. He is admitted as an attorney of the High Court of South Africa.
