Christoff Pienaar

Christoff Pienaar is a Partner in the Cape Town office, specialising in Corporate Law. He is a seasoned transactional lawyer with expertise in mergers and acquisitions, investment transactions, private equity, intellectual property, venture capital, restructuring and general corporate advisory work across the financial services, technology, fintech, health-tech, biotechnology, information technology, payment systems, telecommunications and media sectors.

Christoff advises clients on agency and distribution agreements and complex corporate transactions, navigating multiple market cycles with a proven track record. He is dual-qualified in South Africa and England & Wales.

Christoff holds an LL.B. (2002), a B.A. (1999) and an Advanced Diploma in Banking (2002) from the University of Johannesburg, as well as a Postgraduate Diploma from Stellenbosch University Business School (2020). He is an admitted attorney of the High Court of South Africa and an admitted solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales.
