Zameer Omar

Zameer Omar is an Associate at ENS in the Dispute Resolution practice, focusing on Commercial Litigation. He specialises in general and commercial civil litigation, arbitration and mediation, with a focus on disputes arising in the financial sector.

His experience includes advising clients involved in litigious matters in the High Court, Supreme Court of Appeal, Constitutional Court and arbitrations. He also advises clients on non-litigious matters relating to the Companies Act and general corporate governance, and has been involved in a number of high-profile disputes.

His areas of focus include administrative law, banking law, constitutional law, contract law, pension law and sporting law. In addition, he is experienced in dealing with disputes in specialised tribunals such as the Competition Tribunal, the Financial Intelligence Centre Appeal Board, the Financial Services Tribunal and the SIU Tribunal.

He holds a BCom and an LLB from the University of the Witwatersrand, and is admitted as an attorney of the High Court of South Africa.
