Samantha Farren

Samantha Farren is a Partner at Webber Wentzel in Johannesburg, specialising in commercial property law, property development, and property finance. She advises on all aspects of commercial property law, including property development, property finance, and the registration of related security, and has extensive experience drafting commercial property agreements for various developments across the retail, commercial, and industrial sectors.

Her expertise also includes township establishment, consolidations, subdivisions, registration of servitudes, long‑term leases, notarial tie agreements, and due diligence investigations on land‑related aspects for renewable energy projects, including the registration of associated land agreements. She also advises on the registration of property‑related aspects in merger and listing transactions.

Samantha holds a Diploma in Corporate Law from Rand Afrikaans University (2003), an LLB from the University of the Witwatersrand (1994), and a BA from the University of the Witwatersrand (1992).
