Robyn Culverwell

Robyn Culverwell is an Associate in the Mergers and Acquisitions Practice at Bowmans in Johannesburg, specialising in mergers and acquisitions, corporate and commercial law, and corporate governance. She has extensive experience in both private and public M&A transactions, commercial drafting, legal due diligence, and corporate governance matters, both locally and internationally.

Robyn has worked with the Pharmaceutical and Healthcare sector group, advising clients on the supply, distribution, marketing, and advertising of medicines and medical devices. She also supports the Remuneration and Advisory practice group on corporate aspects, including employee share incentive schemes and black economic empowerment transactions. She recently advised Nampak on its disposal of its Liquid Cartons business, Drums Business, and Liquid Business.

Robyn holds a BA Law with distinction (2019) and an LL.B with distinction (2021), both from the University of Pretoria. She is an admitted attorney of the High Court of South Africa.
