Paul Hart-Davies

Paul Hart-Davies is a Senior Consultant in the Corporate Department, specialising in government contracts, public law, and corporate and commercial law. He advises local and provincial government bodies on a wide range of projects and transactions, including major infrastructure, transport, and public-private partnership initiatives.

He was a member of the City of Cape Town's negotiating team for the 2010 FIFA World Cup, serving as lead legal adviser, and has advised on the construction and development of the Cape Town Stadium, the establishment of the MyCiti IRT transport project, the expansion of the Cape Town Convention Centre, and the establishment of broadband infrastructure for the Western Cape Government. He also advises on franchise law, representing international franchises and new franchise businesses, and has advised the University of Cape Town and Cape Peninsula University of Technology on in-sourcing and restructuring matters.

He holds a B.Proc and a Certificate in Advanced Corporate Law. He has served on the Cape Law Society's Commercial Committee for over 10 years and is a past committee member of the Franchising Association of South Africa (FASA).
