Nishan Pillay

Nishan Pillay is an Associate at ENS in the Forensics practice, focusing on Fraud Law. He specialises in the prevention, detection and investigation of fraud, bribery, corruption and other forms of financial crime in the public and private sector.

His experience includes investigating complex theft, fraud, bribery and corruption, liaising with law enforcement agencies in criminal investigations, conducting due diligence investigations, and providing litigation support during civil and labour-related proceedings.

He has also assisted clients in instituting application and action proceedings in the High Court of South Africa, and has run application, trial and arbitration proceedings for clients across different sectors, including the mining sector, the gambling sector, and administrative law matters relating in particular to public sector procurement.

He holds a Bachelor of Commerce Law, a Bachelor of Laws and a Post Graduate Diploma in Investigations and Forensic Accounting from the University of Pretoria, and is admitted as an attorney of the High Court of South Africa. He is a member of the Institute of Commercial Forensic Practitioners (ICFP).
