Neo Moerane

Neo Moerane is an Associate specialising in Media Law, with expertise in media, entertainment, communications, and broadcasting law. He advises clients on defamation, access to information, privacy rights, fraud, whistleblowing, public procurement irregularities, and delinquent directors, and has experience in civil, commercial, administrative, and public interest litigation.

He has assisted in drafting policies and opinions, and conducting investigations, providing strategic legal counsel across a broad range of media, communications, and regulatory matters. His practice spans both contentious and advisory work, delivering practical legal solutions to clients in the media, entertainment, and broadcasting sectors.

Neo holds an LLB from the University of Cape Town (2022), a B.Des from Inscape Education Group (2018), and a Higher Certificate in Accounting Sciences (cum laude) from the University of South Africa (2019).
